Save on Your Next Vacation
Our PHL parking members know that booking your flight is one of the most important parts of your vacation, but with so many travel websites out there, how do you know which is the best one to use? Here are 7 helpful ones that we’ve found:
Kayak
In addition to hotels, car rentals, cruise deals, and other vacation deals, Kayak.com compares hundreds of airline flights to help you find the cheapest one available. You’ll have the opportunity to track your flight prices and if you have a specific price range, you can also use the website’s Explore tool to see which destinations you can reach within that range.
Yapta
Once you’ve booked your flight, check out Yapta.com. This website tracks airline fares and will let you know if the price of your selected flight decreases. This way, if the website you booked your flight on offers you a refund for the price difference, you can take advantage of it.
Adioso
If you’re a flexible traveler, Adioso is a great website. You can enter vague requests like “East Africa” as your destination and the month of August as your travel date to see all of your options. You’ll be able to get a good idea of how far you can travel for a certain price and what time of year is the best to go.
Airfare Watchdog
In addition to finding you the lowest flight price by comparing several sites, this website features daily top fares from the city you’re closest to. It also offers low fare alerts and weekly travel deals that can be delivered to your inbox. And if you’re looking for a good hotel, Airfarewatchdog has deals on those, too.
Booking Buddy
Instead of entering your flight information into an array of different travel websites, Bookingbuddy.com can search Hotwire, Priceline, Travelocity, Orbitz, Kayak, and other websites for you and then give you the results to compare side by side.
Google Flights
Google’s latest addition to its ever-growing presence is a flight-booking tool. Like many other websites, Google Flights lets you check one-way, round-trip, and multi-city flight prices, but it also has features like “discover destinations” that lets you choose a destination based on your interest and flight tracking to make sure you’re getting the best deal.
Fare Compare
This website is great for finding the best international airfares. All you have to do is enter how much money you want to spend and when you want to travel. Farecompare.com will give you the lowest fares of more than 500 airlines for an array of cities around the world.
